INVICTUS MC started as an MCC in 2012 and had its first meeting on Friday the 31st of August in Sunderland.
Originally a few beer swilling bikers, who also happened to be former and serving members of the Elite Royal Marines and Parachute Regiment,Β decided there was a need to further their passion for riding and started looking into the possibility of joining a local MCC. At the time, there were other MCCβs that were well established and, although many of these were great clubs with similar ideas, there was something missing.
It soon became apparent that the magic ingredient was the instant bond between two elite fighting forces knowing that no matter when, where or whom, you would have each others back without question or hesitation.
It was decided that, to keep our esprit de corps going, we would have no choice but to form our own MCC. Despite the natural (humorous) loathing between both Marines and Paras there is also a unique bond and we are more alike than many would care to admit! So, it was a natural decision to have an MCC that combined both Royal Marines and the Parachute Regiment. INVICTUS MCC was born
From MCC to MC...
We thrived as an MCC and expanded to other areas of the UK as more members joined this unique club.
After a time, it became necessary to restructure the club into distinct chapters to better manage ourselves nationally and it was inevitable that we would need to evolve. The club members held a vote and subsequently, on 29th September 2020 we became INVICTUS MC.
We are proud of our roots and we will be forever grateful to those members who worked tirelessly to build the club, both in its formative years and in its current standing. They helped lay the path for what we are today.
The club maintains its unique identity and is exclusively made up from members of the
Parachute Regiment and Royal Marines.
INVICTUS MC is a unique motorcycle club. It takes time, commitment and dedication to become a full member. We are a proud club and share a common bond that few can equal. INVICTUS is built on the core values of integrity, loyalty and mutual respect with a military background that pushed us to be the best at what we do.
Our members are 100% loyal to each other and we expect nothing less from anyone who joins us.
We recognise that, in the MC world, we are part of a culture that is rich and diverse with never a dull moment.
We are an active club and you will often find us attending events throughout the UK and Europe.
